Honglu UV and LOCOER UV-G: when each quote applies

Same metallized job, two names on the quote. Honglu is our contract-made brand. UV-G is an authorized LOCOER grade. The lamp still picks the tin.

Two supply lines, not one blended tin

Honglu is HuiRun’s registered brand. It is contract-made and shipped from Hefei. We can talk about the batch and the TDS. We do not invent certificates for it.

LOCOER UV-G sits in the authorized Furey catalog. HuiRun distributes it. We do not run the Furey plant, and we do not paste UV-G gloss or adhesion lines onto a Honglu TDS.

  • Ask which brand the buyer’s approved list already names.
  • If the list is open, still lock the lamp before you pick a name.
  • LED presses do not get a mercury UV-G tin by default.
  • A price-only message is not enough to choose either grade.
  • Trial kilos should be the grade you intend to reorder.

When the quote is Honglu UV

Use Honglu UV when the buyer wants HuiRun’s own brand, the press lamp matches the Honglu tin we are offering (mercury or LED, stated separately), and the stock is in the job we can actually trial. Gold and silver board are the usual starting point.

The Honglu page is not a copy of the UV-G color list. Process colors, spots, and auxiliaries follow the Honglu TDS for that batch, not the LOCOER swatch card.

When the quote is LOCOER UV-G

Use UV-G when the buyer asks for that LOCOER grade, the press is mercury UV, and the stock is one the catalog names: coated paper, metallic board, or film. The maker’s notes on cure speed, adhesion, gloss, and strength are catalog language. They are not a HuiRun lab report and not a contract number.

UV-G also lists process colors, spots, and auxiliaries such as extender and tack reducer. Those auxiliaries stay with UV chemistry. Do not pour a conventional drier into a UV-G duct.

What we will not do on one email

We will not answer “best UV ink” with a single name. Send the press, the lamp, the board, the finishing, and the monthly kilos. Then the quote names one grade, says whether it is Hefei stock or a factory slot, and attaches that grade’s TDS.

What the quote covers

Neither line is a food-contact ink because the word packaging appears nearby. Low process VOC is not a migration file. If you need both brands on one plant, keep the tins labeled and do not blend leftovers.

How should the numbers in this article be used?
The ranges here are typical shop practice. Confirm them on your press, paper lot, and lamps or dryer. Catalog numbers stay on the data sheet; the signed sheet comes from a trial.
