How to write an offset-ink RFQ to a distributor

A usable RFQ names press, stock, chemistry family, kilos, pack, and the claim you will audit. “Send cheapest four-colour” is how you get the wrong tin.

Fields that let us name a SKU

Press model and units, speed band, stock mill name, conventional versus UV versus LED-UV, process and/or spots, whether you coat, kilos per month, tin versus 2 kg/3 kg pouch, destination, and Incoterm you can accept.

If the buyer will audit low odor, soy, 2846, or food-pack documents, write the exact claim. HuiRun will match LOCOER low-odor quickset, LC-0011/0022, UV-G, LED-UV, 818D, Honglu lines—or say we cannot support that claim.

  • Chemistry family first: oxidative, mercury UV, or LED-UV.
  • Stock class second: coated board, matte, synthetic, PE-coated.
  • Pack third: tin or vacuum pouch, and feed equipment if needed.
  • Documents fourth: SDS language, COA, composition statement yes/no.
  • Do not send a competitor lot number and expect us to print it.

What we will not guess

Lamp type, food-contact method, and whether the coater exists. Missing fields delay the quote more than a hard price target.

Sample versus container

Say if you want trial kilos before a sea lot. Lead times differ. See the Hefei lead-time article.

One conversation

Ink, varnish, fountain, and a Honglu spot can sit on one inquiry. Split across several vendors, and gloss or rub problems get passed around.

Where to send it

Use the contact form on this site (EN/ZH/ES) or [email protected]. Attach a mill sheet photo if colour is critical. We reply as Hefei HuiRun Printing Technology—a distributor since 2015.

How should the numbers in this article be used?
The ranges here are typical shop practice. Confirm them on your press, paper lot, and lamps or dryer. Catalog numbers stay on the data sheet; the signed sheet comes from a trial.
